Children apps are popular for android and Apple users.   One currently on the market is Dora the Explorer: Where is Boots?  A seek and find adventure.  This interactive storybook is available on the AppStore for the iPhone and the iPad.    Currently, the price for the app is $1.99 for the iPhone and iPod, and $3.99 for the iPad.

The app is an interactive storybook that is designed for preschoolers.  Users read along with the story and play games as Dora goes on a little adventure trying to locate her best friend Boots.  This is a lot like the television program when Dora goes  exploring and has activities she must complete before she can move on to the next part of her adventure.

New Dora the Explorer Themed iPad Accessories for Kids

Parents that have a smart phone or tablet PC will notice that their children will enjoy those devices as much as they do.  There are many different apps designed for children to play and watch.  But one thing that is a worry is keeping the device in tact while in the little hands.

There is an app for about everything.  There is a new Disney Family Magazine iPad app for the monthly magazine.  Disney says that the March and April editions will be available for free. After that point the monthly magazine issues can be purchased.

Dora the Explorer Now Streams on Netflix Canada

People in Canada can now watch streaming  shows and movies, like Dora the Explorer, on Netflix.  Netflix is offers a $7.99 a month subscription service.   Subscribers can watch Netflix with the use of several different electronic equipment.  

A number of consumer electronics devices available in Canada are capable of streaming instantly from Netflix right to TVs.  Nintendo’s Wii home console and Sony’s PlayStation®3 (PS3™) system can stream from Netflix now, and later this fall Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is set to join the Netflix streaming ranks here.  The installed base of the three leading consoles in Canada is approximately six million units.

In addition, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch can now stream from Netflix in Canada, as can Blu-ray disc players from Samsung and Toshiba.  Movies and TV shows streamed from Netflix can also be watched instantly on PCs and Macs.  Over time, more devices capable of streaming from Netflix are expected to be added in Canada, including Blu-ray disc players from VIZIO and Insignia (the latter available exclusively at Best Buy and Futureshop), Internet TVs from Samsung and the recently retuned Apple TV when it is introduced here.
