Dora the Explore Part of Universal Orlando Nightly Parade

When you go to theme parks you expect have lots of fun and experience many different types of entertainment.   Universal Orlando is having their grand opening of the Universal’s Superstar Parade May 8, 2012.   The parade will feature many children favorites including Dora the Explorer and Diego.     Along with these characters there will be several others children favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants, E.B. from Hop, and some minions from Despicable Me.     According the Universal Orlando website, guests will have the opportunity to interact with the parade characters throughout the day.

Auditions for Vero Beach, Florida Children’s Theater Winnie the Pooh Play

Riverside Children’s Theater is Vero Beach, Florida will be holding auditions on March 30th for their local production of a Winnie the Pooh play.  The play, Winnie the Pooh Kids, promises to have classic Winnie the Pooh songs.   Children 7 and up can audition on March 30 starting at 10a.m.  Visit the Riverside Theater for additional information.

Meet Ni Hao Kai-Lan Live in Pensacola

On October 25 you get to meet Kai-Lan in Pensacola at the Pensacola Interstate Fair. Well, she will be as live as an animated character can be. The first 200 fans will get a picture taken with Kai-Lan. Kai-Lan is a character on the Nickelodeon Preschool show Ni-Hao Kai-Lan. She teaches children social skill and some Mandarin Chinese at the same time. The Pensacola Interstate Fair is held in Pensacola, Florida from October 20th to October 30th.

Dora the Explorer Makes an Appearance at Florida’s Children Capital Event for a Day

Dora the Explorer and many other popular children characters entertained kids during Florida’s Children Capital Event for a Day in Tallahassee, Florida.  The event included many different activities for children to enjoy.    The annual event highlights the importance of children and the need to protect and nurture them.   Along with Dora the Explorer there were the popular character SpongeBob SquarePants, and Sesame Street’s Elmo.
