Dora the Explorer Receives a Producers Guild of America Award Nomination

Producers behind the top movies and television programs have been nominated for a Producers Guild of America Award.   Dora the Explorer has been nominated in the category of Children’s Program along with some other very popular children programs.    Other nominated in the Children’s Program category are: SpongeBob SquarePants, iCarly, Sesame Street, and Phineas and Ferb.  This year’s Producer’s Guild Award winners will be announced on January 22nd at the award ceremony to be held at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Dora the Explorer Live made its way to Australia this year; its first time ever. Residents are all too happy to have Dora the Explorer Live performances. Nickelodeon Presents Storytime Live! with Dora the Explorer Adds More Cities

Nickelodeon Presents Storytime Live! has been very popular since it was first launched in February of this year.

Storytime Live! has seen some great tickets sales. In took the record for most gross ticket sales of a week-long family touring show at Radio City Music Hall in the past decade with $2.8 million. Dora the Explorer Live broke that record in 2003 and held it up until Nickelodeon Presents Storytime Live took the record. Due to the huge popularity of the Storytime Live!, more cities will be added to the tour.

Nickelodeon Presents Storytime Live! includes live singing, storytelling, and dancing from some of Nickelodeon’s favorite shows: Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets, Ni Hao Kai-lan, and the Backyardigans.

Dora the Explorer Live! Search For the City of Lost Toys” is set to premier in Australia on March 11, 2010 at the Arts Centre, State Theatre in Melbourne. Before the official show there will be a preview on Friday March 5th at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong, following a week of rehearsals at the venue.

Chris Gifford helped to create the character over 10 years ago, after watching his own kids, Katie (now 17) and Henry (now 14), struggle to “navigate” their world. Nick Jr.’s “Dora the Explorer Live!Search for the Lost Toys” headed for Australia

Dora the Explorer Live is headed for Australian. Children for down under will get to see Dora the Explorer Live!Search for the Lost Toys when it premieres in March 2010.

With help from the audience, Dora and her courageous friends use their musical, language, math and reasoning skills to navigate their way through the number pyramid, the mixed-up jungle and other locations in order to find Dora’s missing teddy bear Osito in the City of Lost Toys.

Dora the Explorer and many of her friends will be seen on stage as performers present the live show dressed as Dora and many her friends, including: Diego, Boots, Map, Backpack, Tico, Isa, Benny, Swiper. The first show will be March 12,2010 in Melbourne.

Little Rock, Arkansas: Dads Look Like Dora the Explorer and Win Dora Live Tickets

Dads can be their kids’ heroes by winning Dora the Explorer tickets. Dora the Explorer: Search for the City of Lost Toys is heading to the Little Rock’ s Robinson Center Music Hall on July 7th and July 8th.
